WoW: What do you think of the Shadow priests now?

Theres always going to be this "fire" on the role of priests to be healers. Sucks now seeing as Blizzard is also thinking the same. I actually started out as an Old player to WoW being a Shadow Priest. Hell i melted Faces and could out DPS the mages once in a while. But that was then. So i started playing again when the burning crusade came and i go back to my character, got him to 70 then when PvP. After my first round i was like all WTF, why the hell aint i melting faces anymore? I carefully study my talents and saw how freakishly nerfed they all got. I heard that BC gives all clases new talents, but cmon! i think that they barley touched the shadow tree, giving much more to holy. All they gave us was a tiny DoT, big whoop. Holy now Gets %25 bonus spell dmg from your spirit. They nerfed shadow weaving so much i've had holy priests out DPS me. After some point what will be the point of shadow priests?
